Robert Montgomery (ur. 1807, zm. 1855) – angielski poeta, autor utworów o tematyce religijnej. Jego twórczość cieszyła się znaczną popularnością wśród czytelników, choć spotykała się z lekceważącą oceną krytyków. Najbardziej znanym dziełem Montgomery’ego był poemat The Omnipresence of the Deity (Wszechobecność Bóstwa) z 1828 roku, który doczekał się kilku wydań w ciągu zaledwie kilku miesięcy. Napisał również poemat poświęcony Marcinie Lutrze. W jego ujęciu reformator był:
The solitary monk who shook the world From pagan slumber, when the gospel trump Thundered its challenge from his dauntless lips In peals of truth.
