Svjetsko prvenstvo u šahu za žene 1933. bilo je četvrto svjetsko prvenstvo u šahu, koje je održano od 12-24. jula 1933. godine u dvorani Leas-Cliff-Hall u engleskom, Folkestonu, istovremeno sa održavanjem pete šahovske olimpijade na kojoj su nastupale muške ekipe.
Na turniru je nastupilo 7 šahistkinja iz pet šahovskih saveza. Na zahtjev Vere Menčik na ovom je prvenstvo, prvi put nakon SP 1927., dozvoljeno da iz jednog šahovskog saveza bude više predstavnika.Im Schatten der Olympiade.
