Formule 2 v roce 2017

Formule 2 v roce 2017 byla první sezónou závodní série Formule 2, která vznikla přejmenováním GP2 Series. Začala v bahrajnském Manáma dne 15. dubna a skončila v Abú Zabí ve Spojených arabských emirátech dne 26. listopadu. V sezóně zvítězil monacký závodník Charles Leclerc před Rusem Arťomem Markelovem.

Složení týmů Po šesti sezónách sérii opustil tým Carlin. Tým Hilmer Motorsport usiloval o návrat do této série, ale nikdy k němu nedošlo.

Změny v kalendáři První závod se konal v Bahrajnu na okruhu Bahrain International Circuit, který se po roční přestávce vrátil do kalendáře. Z kalendáře vypadly okruhy Hockenheimring a Sepang International Circuit. V kalendáři se poprvé objevil španělský okruh Circuito Permanente de Jerez.
