Leptobotia est un genre de poissons téléostéens de la famille des BotiidaeKottelat, M. (2012): Conspectus cobitidum: an inventory of the loaches of the world (Teleostei: Cypriniformes: Cobitoidei). The Raffles Bulletin of Zoology, Suppl. No. 26: 1-199. et de l'ordre des Cypriniformes. Le genre Leptobotia est endémique de la Chine. Parabotia curtus est désormais formellement inclus dans le genre Leptobotia.
