John Boyne, nado o 30 de abril de 1971 en Dublín, é un novelista irlandés. É o autor dunhas dez novelas e outras cinco novelas para lectores mozos. As súas novelas foron traducidas a máis de 50 linguas.

No 2015, foi galardoado Doutor de Honra en Letras pola Universidade de East Anglia.
