Francis Richard Stephenson è uno dei più conosciuti ricercatori nel campo dell'Astronomia storica grazie alle sue ricerche sul rallentamento del periodo di rotazione della Terra Leslie V. Morrison & Francis Richard Stephenson, Historical values of the Earth's clock error ΔT and the calculation of eclipses, Journal for the History of Astronomy, vol. 35, parte 3, n. 120, pag.

(Master of Science), un Ph.D.
