Biografia Iniziò a lavorare con la Vitagraph e quindi con la Famous Players Lasky (la futura Paramount), girando nel corso della sua carriera 57 film.
Lavorò spesso insieme alla moglie, la sceneggiatrice Josephine Lovett.
