The 50 Greatest Cartoons: As Selected by 1,000 Animation Professionals è un libro del 1994 scritto dallo storico dell'animazione Jerry Beck. Consiste in una lista dei 50 migliori cortometraggi in animazione tradizionale di tutti i tempi, redatta da un gruppo di 1000 membri del campo dell'animazione.
Diciassette dei 50 cortometraggi presenti nella lista sono stati prodotti dalla Warner Bros. per le serie Looney Tunes e Merrie Melodies, dieci di questi sono stati diretti da Chuck Jones.
Quasi tutti i cartoni selezionati sono stati realizzati prima del 1960, ad eccezione del corto del 1985 The Big Snit (#25), del corto del 1988 The Cat Come Back (#32), del corto del 1969 Bambi Meets Godzilla (#38), del corto del 1987 L'uomo che piantava gli alberi (#44), e del corto del 1975 Quasi at the Quackadero (#46).
