Russell Shoemaker Ohl (Allentown, Pensilvânia, – ) foi um engenheiro estadunidense. É reconhecido por patentear a moderna célula solar (US Patent 2402662, "Light sensitive device").Riordan M. & Hoddeson L. "The origins of the pn junction" IEEE Spectrum, junho de 1997, pp. 46-51. Ohl foi notável pesquisador de semicondutores antes da invenção do transístor.
