Lafystiidae — семейство морских бокоплавов.
Описание Тело расширенное, без дорсальных зубцов. Рострум большой, уплощенный. Антенны едва удлиненные, жгутики с 5+ члениками; дополнительный жгутик отсутствует. Ротовые органы конически развиты (коробчатой формы). Эпистом и лабрум обычной ширины и длины, цельные. Щупальце максиллипеда редуцировано до 2 члеников.
