Simplexvirus — род вирусов из подсемейства альфагерпесвирусов (Аlphaherpesvirinae) семейства герпесвирусов (Herpesviridae). Два вида из этого рода: Human alphaherpesvirus 1 и Human alphaherpesvirus 2 — вызывают заболевания у человека, например, простой герпес.
