Ye fíu de los aurores Frank y Alice Longbottom, que quedaron con graves daños mentales tres ser torturaos por un grupu de mortífagos encabezáu por Bellatrix Lestrange. Neville foi criáu principalmente pola so güela Augusta Longbottom.
