New York Intellectuals ('Intel·lectuals de Nova York') van ser un grup d'escriptors i crítics literaris estatunidencs amb seu a la ciutat de Nova York a mitjans del . Defensaven una política d'esquerres, sent fermament antiestalinistes. El grup és conegut per haver intentat integrar la teoria literària amb el marxisme i el socialisme, tot rebutjant el socialisme soviètic com a model polític viable o acceptable.
Van ser membres de la Lliga Socialista de Joves, sota la influència de Max Shachtman, Irving Kristol, Irving Howe, Seymour Martin Lipset, Leslie Fiedler i Nathan Glazer.
Molts d'aquests intel·lectuals es van educar al City College de Nova York (anomenat el «Harvard del proletariat»), la Universitat de Nova York i la Universitat de Columbia a la dècada del 1930, i es van associar durant les dues dècades següents amb les revistes polítiques d'esquerres Partisan Review, fundada per Dwight Macdonald, Dissent i Commentary, aleshores d'esquerres, però que més tard va prendre una tendència neoconservadora. L'escriptor Nicholas Lemann ha descrit aquests intel·lectuals com «el Bloomsbury nord-americà».
Alguns, com ara Kristol, Sidney Hook i Norman Podhoretz, van esdevenir més tard figures clau en el desenvolupament del neoconservadorisme.
