Errol Mark Morris, nado en Hewlett, Nova York, o 5 de febreiro de 1948, é un director de cinema estadounidense coñecido por documentais en que se pregunta pola epistemoloxía dos seus temas, e pola invención do Interrotron.
En 2003, o seu filme The Fog of War: Eleven Lessons from the Life of Robert S. McNamara gañou o Óscar ao mellor documental. The Thin Blue Line situouse no quinto posto da enquisa da revista Sight & Sound sobe os mellores documentais da historia. Morris é coñecido por realizar filmes sobre temas pouco habituais: por exemplo, Fast, Cheap & Out of Control entrelaza as historias dun adestrador de animais, un xardineiro de topiaria, un científico de robótica e un especialista en ratas toupas espidas.
