The Greatest Show on Earth è stato un gruppo musicale britannico rock progressivo.
Storia I Greatest Show on Earth nacquero nel 1968 come gruppo di cover soul/rhythm and blues. Convertitisi al rock progressivo, i Greatest Show on Earth pubblicarono, nel 1970, i due album Horizons e The Going's Easy, contenenti questa volta materiale originale. Degno di nota è il loro singolo Real Cool World, licenziato lo stesso anno ed entrato al settimo posto della classifica olandese. I Greatest Show on Earth si sciolsero nel 1971. Il loro bassista Norman Watt-Roy entrerà a far parte dei Blockheads di Ian Dury.
